About The Parent’s Haven Podcast hosted by Tara Quinlivan
Proudly Sponsored by Di van der Walt & Perth Hills Allied Health
Welcome to The Parent’s Haven, a warm, honest, no-nonsense space created for parents, carers and professionals raising or supporting neurodivergent children. This podcast was born from the simple truth that families do better when they’re connected, heard and understood.
Hi, I’m Tara, Mum, Bonus mum, Admin Angel for Perth Hills Allied Health and a big believer in heart-led conversations. I’ve lived blended-family life, walked alongside families in allied health, and learned firsthand that every child who thinks differently deserves a home and community that gets them.
Here we talk openly about the real stuff:
• navigating neurodivergence with compassion and clarity
• the messy and beautiful moments of family life and how that looks for you
• what’s working, what’s not and what we wish we knew sooner
• stories from other parents who’ve been there
• insights from therapists, educators and professionals who support our kids
Every episode is created to remind you that you’re not alone in this. No judgement. No sugar-coating. Just genuine conversations that lift the load and light the path a little with a hint of humour.
Whether you’re here to learn, to feel supported or to share your own story, you’re in the right place.
